Terms of Service

1. What ApexDrift does

ApexDrift reports hostnames associated with a domain name, assembled from publicly available sources — certificate transparency logs, passive DNS datasets, and public DNS resolution. It does not send traffic to, probe, or test any system belonging to the domain being searched.

2. Your account

Accounts are created through GitHub sign-in. You are responsible for activity under your account. One person or organisation per account; do not share credentials or resell access.

3. Acceptable use

Use of the service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: do not use ApexDrift to support unauthorised access to systems, to harass anyone, or in violation of any law that applies to you. We may suspend an account we reasonably believe is being used that way.

4. Subscriptions and billing

• The Pro plan is $15.99 per month, billed in advance through Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• We do not provide automatic refunds for partial periods. If something has gone wrong, contact us and we will deal with it reasonably.
• Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice before the change applies to your renewal.

Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe. ApexDrift never receives or stores your card number.

5. Availability and accuracy

ApexDrift depends on third-party data sources that may be incomplete, delayed, or temporarily unavailable. Results are not a guarantee that a hostname exists, that it is owned by anyone in particular, or that the list is exhaustive. Do not rely on ApexDrift as the sole basis for a security decision.

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law permits. We do not commit to a specific uptime level.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost data. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Your content and our content

You keep any rights you have in the domains and data you submit. We keep all rights in the ApexDrift software, interface, and branding. Scan results we generate for you are yours to use, including in client deliverables.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these terms, non-payment, or where required by law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
